When installed, the grinding wheel and flange should be padded 0. 5-1mm elastic pad: the diameter of both must be equal, the size of which is generally half the diameter of the grinding wheel. There should be a certain gap between the grinding wheel and the grinding wheel shaft or the step flange to prevent the spindle from being heated to expand and cracking the grinding wheel.
