Tungsten Carbide, also known as cemented Carbide, is a combination of tungsten carbide particles and metal cobalt. Tungsten Carbide is a non-oxidizing cemented carbide that maintains a hardness similar to that of corundum or gemstone even at very high temperatures.
Advantages of TC dies:
• High hardness, good thermal conductivity, small coefficient of friction
• Low cost, used in some large loss, high hardness of the wire processing process • Uniform wear when used
• Tungsten Carbide die core can withstand 2800°c high temperature and size range of 0.15mm-55mm (larger or smaller size customized according to customer requirements)
TC dies are widely used in applications where high temperature resistance, impact resistance and only short-term use are required. The low price of tungsten carbide molds makes this possible.
Application:
• Steel Wire
• Stainless steel Wire
• Copper wire
• Aluminum Wire
• Tungsten Wire
• A variety of other colored or non-ferrous metal lines
