1.Use lubricants with good lubrication performance

During the tensile process, the quality of the lubricant and the adequacy of the lubricant supply affect the service life of the pull die.Therefore, the lubricant oil base is required to be stable, good oxidation resistance, with excellent lubrication, cooling and cleaning, in the entire production process to maintain the best lubrication state, in order to form a layer can withstand high pressure without damage of the film, reduce the friction in the work area, improve the service life of the mold.

In the use of the process, to constantly observe the status of lubricating oil, if found serious discoloration or the increase in metal powder in lubricating oil, to be replaced or filtered in a timely manner, to avoid the lubricant due to oxidation and reduced lubrication performance, while avoiding pulling off the process of small metal particles damaged mold.

2.Regular maintenance and repair of drawing molds Pull line mold

In the long-term use of the process, the mold wall by the metal wire strong friction and scour effect, inevitably will produce wear phenomenon, the most common is in the work area wire entrance appears ring ditch (dent).

The appearance of the pull die ring ditch exacerbates the wear of the mold hole, because the small particles of the die core material that peel off due to loosening on the ring ditch are brought into the mold hole working area and the fixed diameter area by the metal wire, which plays the role of abrasive, while the wire entering the die hole is like. The wear of the mold hole is aggravated by the grinding needle. If not replaced in time for repair, then the ring ditch will continue to accelerate expansion, so that the repair is more difficult, and even may appear in the ring groove deeper cracks, so that the mold completely shattered and scrapped.
